Give your Mac insomnia on demand

There are times when you just don’t want to have your Mac go to sleep and fiddling with settings means you may forget to put them back.

Caffeine - “is a tiny program that puts an icon in the right side of your menu bar. Click it to prevent your Mac from automatically going to sleep, dimming the screen or starting screen savers. Click it again to go back.”
We drink inane amounts of coffee to stay awake so, why not give your Mac Caffeine when you need it to stay awake?
An example: you are watching a DVD or Hulu or something inactive — you aren’t typing or using the trackpad — that will take longer than the time setting you have set on your Mac for the screensaver or sleep to kick in.
Using Caffeine allows you to give your Mac insomnia for that movie watching without changing your screensaver and energy settings. Quite handy.
