WriteIt! is a text editor that supports more file formats than most any text editor. It’s a well-planned piece of software aimed at students and adults who “want to create a great text document.”
WriteIt! - Some features that normally wouldn’t be found in a text editor are the ability to make a graph and plugin extensibility. It supports 12 file formats including: *write, *html and *rb.
But it isn’t just a beefed up text editor, it also has a web browser integrated into it called the “Researcher”. It features a Google search field, bookmarking and other functions that will help in making research easier.
Need a place to store text temporarily? There’s a notepad for that. Need to listen to audio while typing? There’s an audio player for that. A video player is also in the making, so look out for that as well. With the calculator plugin, you can now do mathematical calculations with pi, sin, cos, and tan support. With version 3 of WriteIt, you can now send files quickly and easily with Bluetooth integration.
But that’s not all the WriteIt has to offer. Every registered user will receive 500MB of online storage (soon 1GB) that will be accessible throughout the world, only by you. Its even got something most text editors don't have: a “status bar icon” that allows you to open or create documents with ease.
