How do you keep up with all the incoming email?
I have far too many email addresses that I monitor in Mail.app. I had been falling hopelessly behind on weeding out the junk and actually getting it into the trash. I was missing some stuff that came in as well.
Another gem brought to you by the folks who have frequented the MacHeist fora.

Mail.appetizer - “Have a look at your incoming email without switching to Mail. Mail.appetizer is a plug-in for Apple's Mail and integrates seamlessly. The moment a new message is received, Mail.appetizer displays an onscreen notification window. It gives you a brief summary of the message, so you can determine whether the message requires your immediate attention.”
One thing that drove me nuts was that it defaults to opening in the upper right corner of the screen. I didn’t realize when you are in the settings for it, within Mail.app preferences, that you can just move that notification window to a different place on the screen. Slightly hidden preference, but pretty slick none-the-less.
